Key Competencies & Skills required Technical:

The Technical Lead specifies, designs, codes and takes responsibility for the IFRS17 Data Quality Solution based on Informatica DQ.

  • Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures they are applied effectively and along standard.
  • Reviews systems designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
  • Sets policy and standards for solution development projects. Promotes benefits of addressing security issues.
  • Identifies, proposes, and initiates software/ process improvements within the organization, devising solutions.
  • Supports the design of system architecture and related interfaces. Coaches Application Developers in software development capabilities.
  • Steers and controls the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers, and produces software builds for loading into the target environment.
  • 2st & 3nd level IT support

Technical:

  • Informatica (PowerCenter, CDC, DI, DQ) and SQL Management Studio.
  • MS-SQL
  • Experience handling Big Data
  • IT technical background & mainframe programming experience
  • Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.
  • Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks
  • Testing experience
  • Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly

Nice to have:

  • VBA, Java , Python
  • Good experience with HP-ALM testing tool in both Manual and Automation Testing
  • Jira and Confluence experience.
  • Experience in financial sector or banking sector.
