Vice President, Tax Reporting & Compliance Manager

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President; Tax Reclaims to join our Custody Global Tax Operations team. This role is located in Pune. 

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Leading and managing global processing teams responsible for Tax Reclaim Rejections, Reconciliations, and Requests, ensuring operational excellence and seamless coordination across regions.
  • Setting the standard through leadership by example, fostering strong cross-functional partnerships, and acting as the primary escalation point. Collaborate closely with external institutions and internal stakeholders—including Product and Network Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Custody Operations—to resolve complex issues and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Championing continuous improvement by leveraging digital tools, AI, and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience.
  • Building and nurturing high-performing teams by inspiring talent development, promoting a culture of accountability, inclusion, and innovation.
  • Ensuring compliance with global tax regulations and industry best practices while managing operational risk effectively.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a manager
  • Prior experience in Tax Reclaim, Documentation, Relief at Source, or Income Processing teams is advantageous
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to design and implement process re-engineering initiatives
  • Strong capability to perform effectively under pressure 
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Inspirational leadership skills to develop talent and cultivate a culture of belonging, trust, and collaboration
