JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: Infection Control Officer / Nurse
Qualification: MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, Diploma/Certificate in Infection Control
Core Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor infection control protocols in hospital settings
Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, and other accreditation standards
Conduct surveillance of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs)
Educate and train healthcare staff on infection prevention measures
Investigate outbreaks and lead corrective action plans
Collaborate with hospital administration and quality teams for continuous improvement
Experience: Fresher – 5+ years (depending on hospital requirements)
