Role & responsibilities
Store In Charge is essential to ensure the proper management of central stores. This position will be involved in maintenance of stores functions, oversee physical items, scrap management and ensure stores protocols are followed. Ensure compliance to safety regulations. This position will coordinate with Commercial head for day to day activities. Ultimately, it will help to maintain necessary item stocks for uninterrupted power generation.
Personnel Management:
Lead, train, and supervise the stores team, including associates.
- Surveillance & Access Control:
Manage surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms) and oversee access control protocols to prevent unauthorized entry into specific areas. - Risk Assessment & Threat Management:
Conduct regular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement measures to mitigate theft. - Compliance & Audits:
Ensure compliance with JSW Stores norms, protocols, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, and internal audit requirements. - Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and conduct regular tool box talk in collaboration with plant safety teams. - Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive stores management.
Preferred candidate profile
Excellent in GRN punching of received goods.
Process invoices of received goods.
Physical verification of all items.
Scrap items management
Workable SAP knowledge
