Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Textile Testing Analyst to join our team. As a Textile Testing Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests on textile materials and products to assess their performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical testing on yarns and fabrics to evaluate properties such as tensile strength, tear resistance, and abrasion resistance.
  • Perform chemical testing on textile materials to assess properties such as fiber content, dye fastness, and pH levels.
  • Evaluate test results and prepare detailed reports documenting findings, including any deviations from specifications or regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand testing requirements, prioritize workloads, and ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, equipment calibration, and quality control measures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes related to textile testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Fresher or Previous experience in textile testing, quality control, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in performing mechanical and chemical tests on yarns and fabrics, using standard testing methods and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASTM, ISO, IS and AATCC, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) preferred.
