About the Role

We are seeking a QA & QC Officer to ensure and enhance paint product quality. This role involves implementing quality control procedures from raw material inspection to final product testing, ensuring adherence to quality systems and standards.

Key Responsibilities

QC Testing: Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process stages (Finish, Viscosity), and finished products (Viscosity, Colour strength, drying time, gloss, density adhesion). Calibrate lab equipment.

QA & Documentation: Support QMS development, ensure compliance with GMP and regulations, maintain meticulous quality records, and prepare reports. Participate in audits.

Non-Conformance: Identify, document, and investigate quality issues. Collaborate on root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Calibration & Safety: Ensure equipment calibration. Adhere to lab/plant safety, maintain a clean environment, and use PPE.

Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement in quality processes and product performance.

Required Qualifications

MSC in chemistry, Polymer Science.

2-5 years QC/QA experience, specifically in the paint, coatings, chemicals, or related process manufacturing industry.

Experience with lab testing and equipment for paint analysis.

Strong understanding of QMS and GMP.

Knowledge of industry standards (IMS) and regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
