Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD 2D Draftsman to join our

Engineering/Design team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating and interpreting

2D mechanical drawings and possess a solid foundation in mechanical concepts.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop precise 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD based on specifications,

sketches, and design concepts.

● Interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and related documentation to

ensure accuracy.

● Review and validate designs for compliance with company standards and industry

codes.

● Maintain an organized drawing database/library for efficient reference.

● Provide support to the engineering team with related design tasks and projects.

Qualifications

● ITI Certification, Diploma, or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

● Proven experience in 2D AutoCAD drafting with a demonstrable portfolio.

● Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.

● High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

● Familiarity with additional CAD software is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

● Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and drafting best practices.

● Understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.

● Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
