R&D Chemist

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve polyurethane (PU) binder and rigid PU formulations used in flooring systems.
• Work on making existing products better stronger, more cost-effective, and efficient.
• Carry out lab-scale experiments for PU formulations, including testing and performance analysis.
• Help move lab-developed formulations to pilot and full-scale production.
• Solve technical issues related to product quality or performance.
• Stay updated with the latest in polyurethane chemistry and flooring technologies.
• Keep detailed records of your experiments and share your findings with the team.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or Polymer Science/B.Tech or M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Technology.
• 1 to 3 years of R&D experience in polyurethane formulation, preferably in binders or rigid PU systems used in flooring or similar applications.
• Good understanding of polyols, isocyanates, catalysts, fillers, and additives.
• Comfortable working in a lab and familiar with scale-up processes.
• Problem-solving attitude with a strong analytical approach.
• Good communication and teamwork with ability to document work clearly and maintain records.

Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
