Description
  • Title: Senior Cyber Security Engineer
  • Location: Bangalore 
  • Working Schedule: 9AM – 7 PM /1 PM – 10 PM
  • Working Model: Hybrid

Intro:

The role is accountable for safeguarding the integrity & security of Organization data. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function.  

Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Plan & Implement Layered based security posture
  • Web-security Policy Management, Create, Implementation and Integration of security policies in Zscaler to ensure alignment with organizational security requirements
  • Knowledge on Troubleshooting and Support ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access)
  • Oversee Security Controls for Endpoints, Network & Perimeter, Cloud and Servers infrastructure
  • Incident response & Handling
  • Implement measures and controls to protect organization from cyber threats
  • Assess and identify current security threats and predict future attacks
  • Implement Compensating controls where the desired controls are not available
  • Monitor the organization's networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
  • Recommend security enhancements to IT Management.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • Zscaler Platform Knowledge: Proficiency with Zscaler cloud security solutions, including ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) and ZPA (Zscaler Private Access)
  • Work Experience Minimum 4-6 years
  • Network Security: Understanding of network security principles, firewall management, VPNs, and threat mitigation.
  • Configuration and Troubleshooting: Ability to configure Zscaler settings, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and manage security policies.
  • Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud-based services and architecture, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Security Protocols: Familiarity with SSL/TLS, DNS, and other security protocols relevant to Zscaler solutions.
  • Documentation and Communication: Ability to create and maintain documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Designing and implementing security measures to protect against potential threats
  • Monitoring network activity for signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity
  • Proficiency in network security and encryption technologies
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices
