Job Title: Lead Engineer

**Company Name:** R Systems

**Experience:** Minimum 8 years - Maximum 12 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. **Technical Leadership:**

  2. Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET Core.

  3. Encourage best practices in software development, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

  4. **Software Development:**

  5. Architect, design, and develop scalable and robust applications using C# and .NET Core in alignment with project objectives and client requirements.

  6. Ensure code is written to the highest quality standards, optimizing for performance, readability, and maintainability.

  7. **Collaboration:**

  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and DevOps, to ensure timely delivery of software products.

  9. Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather technical requirements and understand the client's vision.

  10. **DevOps Implementation:**

  11. Utilize Azure DevOps for managing project workflows, source control, automated build/deploy environments, and monitoring application performance.

  12. Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software release process and enhance overall productivity.

  13. **Project Management:**

  14. Assist in planning and estimating project timelines and resource requirements.

  15. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while managing risks and addressing any potential roadblocks.

  16. **Quality Assurance:**

  17. Develop and enforce testing strategies to ensure software reliability and functionality; including unit testing and integration testing.

  18. Work closely with QA teams to ensure that defects are identified and resolved quickly.

  19. **Continuous Improvement:**

  20. Engage in continuous learning and keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software development.

  21. Propose improvements to existing processes based on team feedback and evolving best practices.

  22. **Documentation:**

  23. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to software architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures.

  24. **Stakeholder Communication:**

  25. Serve as a primary technical contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding project status, challenges, and solutions.

  26. **Problem Solving:**

  27. Analyze and resolve technical issues, providing innovative solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
