You will be responsible for TARA analysis of software components for complex automotive platforms used by major Automotive OEMs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security architecture and compliance with global standards.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Cybersecurity Architects to perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for advanced automotive systems and components.Responsible for the component cybersecurity, you will own the delivery of TARA, ensuring adherence to defined processes and acting as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity matters for the technology teams.Support development of cybersecurity concepts, requirements, and risk analysis in alignment with ISO/SAE-21434.Participate in cybersecurity reviews, audits, and compliance activities for global standards (ISO/SAE-21434, GB Drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity processes, tools, and methodologiesExperience Requirements3 to 5 years of experience in automotive or embedded systems.Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts like access control, isolation, cryptographic algorithms.Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and automotive software architectures.Familiarity with global automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE-21434, UNECE R155, GB Proven track record in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for complex automotive systems.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with AUTOSAR, QNX, and Linux-based automotive platforms.Hands-on experience with TARA tools (e.g. Ansys Medini).Exposure to penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and secure coding practices.Knowledge of functional safety (ISO and its interaction with cybersecurity.Key CompetenciesAnalytical Thinking: Ability to assess complex systems and identify potential security risks.Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Problem-Solving: Innovative approach to developing security solutions under constraints.Attention to Detail: Precision in compliance documentation and threat modelling.Communication: Clear articulation of technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.Why Join UsAt Qualcomm, we are shaping the future of automotive technology by delivering cutting-edge solutions for connected and autonomous vehicles.
