Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer – Pharmaceutical Industry

Role Overview

We are seeking a
Machine Learning Engineer
to design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions that advance pharmaceutical research, clinical development, and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with data scientists, bioinformaticians, chemists, and clinicians to translate complex biomedical data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Development:
    Design, train, and optimize ML and deep learning models for applications such as drug discovery, target identification, biomarker discovery, patient stratification, or clinical trial optimization.
  • Data Engineering:
    Clean, preprocess, and manage large-scale biological, chemical, and clinical datasets (e.g., omics, imaging, EHR).
  • Deployment:
    Build and maintain production-grade ML pipelines using MLOps best practices (e.g., model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring).
  • Collaboration:
    Work cross-functionally with R&D, bioinformatics, and IT teams to integrate ML models into existing workflows.
  • Research & Innovation:
    Stay current with state-of-the-art methods in AI, generative modeling, and computational biology, and propose their application in pharma use cases.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    Ensure all models and data pipelines meet GxP, FAIR, and data privacy (HIPAA/GDPR) standards.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in

  • Proficiency with ML frameworks such as

  • Experience with
    cloud platforms
