Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps services. Day-to-day tasks include automating software delivery processes, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with development teams to implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices, and managing infrastructure as code. The role also includes ensuring system security and compliance, optimizing cloud resource utilization, and providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Ruby
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including resource management and optimization
  • Candidate must have experience in Terraform and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
  • Strong understanding of system security, compliance, and monitoring tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications in Azure or DevOps are a plus
