The Autism Clinic is a Mumbai-based clinic that provides evidence-based and developmentally appropriate ABA services to children with Autism between 2-10 years of age. Our naturalistic approach is child-led and motivation-driven, empowering each child with the tools required for communication, social engagement, and independence.

We are currently seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our ABA team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who will be instrumental in setting up an OT practice as part of the current ABA practice. We believe that a collaborative, inter-disciplinary approach, under one roof will benefit our learners by providing a more consistent & comprehensive service model. The right candidate must not only possess a genuine passion for working with children but also align with our vision of professional and company growth.

Role Description:
This is a part-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist at The Autism Clinic.

Responsibilities include:
1. Evaluating the learner's progress, & reviewing medical history

  1. Conduct one on one and/or small group sessions with children

  2. Collect & analyze data to evaluate and monitor the child's progress.

  3. Make data-based decisions to treatment plans on an on-going basis.

  4. Collaborate with ABA team on an on-going basis

  5. Participate in discussions to update the child's IEP

  6. Communicate effectively with the child's parents and caregivers to provide updates on the child's progress and address any concerns

  7. Participate in knowledge share by attending trainings with the ABA team to enhance behavior analytic skills & also present on OT relevant topics to the ABA team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a valid license to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum 1- year experience of working with children with Autism
  • Strong understanding of pediatric therapy interventions and techniques for children with Autism
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with learners, their families, and clinic staff
  • Proficiency in spoken English and Hindi, and written English skills.
