About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Android Developer to join our mobile team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge Android application with excellent performance, usability, and scalability.

As a senior team member, you'll also play a key role in mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions.

In addition to hands-on development, this role involves contributing to architectural decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and regularly reporting progress to key stakeholders and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of mobile applications for Android using native (Kotlin) and/or cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native).

Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of Android development experience with a strong portfolio of released apps.
  • Strong command of Kotlin and solid understanding of Java.
  • Experience with Android Jetpack components (MVVM, Room, LiveData).
  • Proficient in RESTful API integration and working with JSON/XML.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
  • Strong grasp of mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Google Play Store submission and app lifecycle management.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Firebase, and Crashlytics.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in mobile development.
  • Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or mobile development communities are a plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin/Java (Android).
  • Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile backend integration.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and mobile app deployment processes (App Store, Google Play).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
