Senior Business Analyst (Sitecore XM Cloud)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team, with a focus on Sitecore XM Cloud and related headless CMS platforms.

Position Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will be a key player in ensuring that client requirements are met through the delivery of robust digital solutions. This role requires extensive experience with Sitecore CMS, working in Agile development environments, and managing complex projects. You will lead the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables align with client expectations. You will also bring expertise in Sitecore to the table, ensuring an integrated approach to managing workflows and content delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the gathering and documentation of complex business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and the development team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on Sitecore best practices, helping clients leverage the platform's full capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams, facilitating sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies, ensuring potential project roadblocks are addressed promptly.
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs by facilitating workshops, sprint reviews, and user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain a high level of detail and quality control over documentation and project deliverables.
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience with Sitecore (XP, XM, or XM Cloud), with a deep understanding of its authoring experience, workflow capabilities, and integration capabilities.
  • Proven experience in Agile development environments, with strong expertise in collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in writing comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria for complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly articulate business requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with detailed, tactical execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar).
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience leading large-scale headless CMS implementations or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience facilitating requirements-gathering workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence (or similar tools)
