Purpose of Role:

We are seeking an Assembly/Painter Operator to join our shop floor assembly team. The role requires strong hands-on skills in tool handling, material lifting, and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

• Maintain 5S discipline and overall shop floor cleanliness and organization.

• Follow defined check sheets and immediately report any abnormalities to the supervisor.

• Safely operate cranes, hoists and other lifting equipment.

• Use measuring instruments with accuracy and consistency.

• Read and interpret Indent, GA, CS, GD&T and other relevant engineering drawings.

• Understand and adhere to SOP, 1PL, MSDS, HIRA, AIA and other work instructions.

• Handle loading and unloading of jobs using proper tools and procedures.

• Use the correct jigs, fixtures and tools for each assigned job.

• Assemble and unitize pumps and valves as per specifications.

• Update Andon, route cards, daily production logs, QA52, CTQ, pump offer sheets, PDI, breakdown records and other required documentation.

• Ensure all products are assembled/manufactured to defined quality standards and supporting documents.

• Handle OK, rework and rejected parts as per established processes.

• Complete all assigned jobs within the defined cycle time.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• ITI in Fitter/Electrical/Electronics.

• 0–4 years of relevant experience.
