We are seeking 3 skilled Application Support Engineers (1 Lead, 2 Senior Developers) to support and maintain the Intermodal Application System, a legacy yet critical logistics platform built on a LAMP stack with Java and Perl integrations. This role involves triaging production issues, debugging backend logic, working with EDI flows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve tickets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve support tickets related to intermodal application behavior
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues across Perl, Java, and MySQL components
  • Support EDI workflows, including AS2-based file transfers and Sterling Integrator mappings
  • Support Frontend developed in Kendo UI
  • Collaborate with internal QA, Tableau, and data teams to validate and resolve issues
  • Participate in KTLO (Keep The Lights On) support activitiesno new feature development
  • Ensure application stability on Red Hat Linux servers with Apache and Cron job monitoring
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to SOPs and triage playbooks
  • Assist with log analysis, replication monitoring, and job execution health

Technical Requirements:

Strong experience in:

Perl scripting (for legacy logic and batch jobs)

Java (Spring) applications (backend services)

MySQL (queries, debugging, replication)

Kendo UI

Familiarity with:

Linux (Red Hat preferred)

Apache Web Server

EDI

Shell Scripting

Sterling Integrator

Nice to Have:

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight management systems

Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, and Active Directory (AD)

Basic understanding of Tableau dashboards

Comfort working in on-prem environments (not cloud-native)

Comfortable navigating log files, interpreting stack traces, and debugging live issues U
