Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Developer with experience in building robust, scalable server-side systems using PHP and The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of modern backend architectures, microservices, and containerized deployments.

Youll play a key role in designing and developing efficient APIs and services that support our customer-facing products and internal systems, with a focus on high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and
  • Develop high-performance microservices supporting millions of users.
  • Work extensively with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch for data management and performance tuning.
  • Containerize services using Docker and work in modern DevOps environments.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy services via AWS ECS/EKS and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning.
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend services.

Skills

  • 58 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
  • Expertise in PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and
  • Deep understanding of databases : MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  • Practical experience with Docker for containerized development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of designing and versioning scalable APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Working knowledge of security best practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
