Role Overview

A JD Edwards ERP Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne platform. This role supports business operations by customizing ERP modules, integrating third-party systems, and ensuring optimal performance of JD Edwards solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications using JDE development tools (e.g., FDA, RDA, BSSV).
  • Customize ERP modules to meet specific business requirements across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and HR.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Perform system analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting of JDE applications.
  • Design and implement integrations between JD Edwards and external systems using web services and APIs.
  • Support data migration, upgrades, and patching activities.
  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and user guides.
  • Ensure compliance with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management protocols.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of ERP workflows and business processes (finance, O2C, P2P, inventory).
  • Experience with JD Edwards upgrades, CNC administration, and performance tuning is a plus.
