Scrum Master (Insurance Domain with PLSQL)
for our client based in Tharamani,
Chennai
About The Role
We are seeking for an experienced Scrum Master with expertise in the Insurance domain and hands-on knowledge of PLSQL. This role involves leading Agile delivery for insurance solutions, facilitating collaboration between business and technical teams, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 1–2 Agile teams as Scrum Master, driving sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlog items.
- Remove impediments and ensure timely delivery of high-quality insurance applications (Policy, Claims, Billing, etc.).
- Utilize PLSQL skills to understand database logic, validate data, and support troubleshooting.
- Track team performance using Agile tools (Internal tools).
- Promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and collaboration across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of overall IT experience with 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Insurance processes (Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, Reinsurance).
- Proficiency in PLSQL (queries, stored procedures, debugging).
- Agile tools experience (JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Preferred certifications: CSM / PSM / SAFe Scrum Master.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred
Good to Have
- Experience working in insurance product-based companies.
- Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD practices.
- Experience in Agile at Scale frameworks like SAFe or LeSS.
