Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Android CTS/VTS Compliance Engineer to lead the strategy, execution, and framework development for Android compatibility testing across Automotive platforms. This role requires deep technical knowledge of AOSP, HAL, Android Automotive (AAOS) and advanced debugging expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the end-to-end CTS/VTS compliance strategy for Android platforms.
  • Architect scalable automation frameworks for CTS/VTS (Python, Shell, C/C++, Jenkins).
  • Manage planning, execution, analysis, and defect reporting for compatibility tests.
  • Debug complex platform-level issues related to AOSP internals, HAL, system components.
  • Optimize, enhance, and extend CTS/VTS test suites for new Android releases.
  • Collaborate with platform teams to resolve compatibility failures.
  • Evaluate new Android versions for vendor/device compliance.
  • Drive proactive testing to identify issues early in the lifecycle.
  • Mentor teams and lead technical direction for compliance engineering.

Mandatory Skills

  • 7+ years in Automotive domain.
  • 5+ years in Android Automotive (AAOS).
  • Strong knowledge of AOSP, HAL, System frameworks.
  • Hands-on automation expertise: Python, Shell scripting, C/C++, Jenkins.
  • Advanced debugging for hardware compatibility & system stability issues.
  • Experience architecting test frameworks and leading engineering teams.

Good to Have

  • Experience with SDV, infotainment, In-Vehicle Android systems.
  • Strong understanding of vendor-specific compliance requirements.
