DESCRIPTION:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other tech equipment. Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner. Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on desktop computers and other devices.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on all user systems, ensuring proper functionality and performance. Maintain and manage user accounts and permissions. Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest patches and updates.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal staff, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Educate users on basic troubleshooting steps to enhance user self-sufficiency.
- Documentation: Document technical procedures and create user manuals. Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software resources.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to resolve complex issues. Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their technical needs.
REQUIREMENT:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 0-1 year of experience in a desktop support or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and support.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
