Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled
MongoDB

and
Developer

to join our dynamic aviation technology team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power mission-critical aviation software applications, including asset management platforms, maintenance tracking systems, logistics, and operational dashboards.

If you're passionate about aviation and love building robust backend services that scale, this is the perfect opportunity to combine both worlds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance backend services using
  • Build and optimise data models and queries using MongoDB for aviation use cases.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, aviation engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code with clear documentation.
  • Work closely with product managers to translate aviation domain requirements into technical specifications that meet the requirements.
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and compliance with aviation data protocols.
  • Optimise the performance of existing systems, especially in handling large aviation datasets.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in

and
JavaScript/TypeScript
- Deep knowledge of
MongoDB

(including aggregation pipelines, indexing, and schema design)
- Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to aviation domain data (e.g., MRO, aircraft logs, flight operations) is a plus
