ISG works closely with IB deal teams globally to help create client pitch decks used for financial transactions and client servicing. ISG's responsibilities broadly involve receiving financial, transaction and market data/ research requests from IB Analysts and Associates and providing the same from proprietary and third-party databases. The function includes interpreting the request, understanding the deadline, identifying the database best suited for the job, retrieving the data, reviewing the data for any apparent anomalies, and charting or presenting the data in agreed formats. ISG also provides bespoke research expertise across seven industry groups, which are Technology Media & Telecom, HealthCare, Industrial, Real Estate, Natural Resources, Consumer/Retail, and Financial Institutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with IB deal teams to ensure an exact understanding of requirements and provide standard outputs sourced from relevant databases
- Ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner and adhere to quality standards
- Develop models/ templates that provide quality outputs efficiently
- Develop expertise in databases and comprehend financial information to cater to asks & queries effectively
- Develop and maintain relationships with IB deal teams across regions
- Establish effective communication with banking teams to minimize iterations
- In partnership with Compliance and Banking Technology, understand and explain copyright and data usage issues as required

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics and / or relevant field
- Understanding of Microsoft Office products, tools, and utilities for business use

- Excellent academic credentials
- Experience with third party databases like Refinitiv, FactSet and Dealogic is a plus

- Ability and dedication to meet strict and aggressive deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with seniors and global stakeholders
About the program
Our Summer Analyst Program is a nine to ten week summer internship for students pursuing a bachelors / graduate degree. You will be fully immersed in our day-to-day activities.
As a participant, you will:
- Attend orientation where you'll learn about our culture, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of the firm
- Receive training designed to help you succeed
- Have the opportunity to work on real responsibilities alongside fellow interns and our people
