About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer I to join our dynamic Engineering team in Pune, MH. This pivotal role involves leading the development of scalable, cloud-ready applications and services that support BNY's strategic initiatives. As a key contributor, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Your expertise will help shape the technological landscape of our organization, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects, mentor junior team members, and influence the technical direction of our enterprise applications.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 9+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in full-stack engineering, is required. Proficiency in Java 17 and above, along with modern concurrency patterns, Spring 6.x, and Spring Boot 3.x, is essential. Hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring REST, Spring Security, Spring Data JDBC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Kafka, and Spring Cloud services is expected. Familiarity with Kafka, query optimization in Microsoft SQL Server, and UI development with Angular 17.x or higher will be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, unit testing, deployment, and documentation.

• Analyze complex data queries and optimize database performance within Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, including token-based authentication and API gateway configurations.

• Participate actively in team discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with BNY's development methodologies and quality standards.
