Job Summary:

We are hiring a Senior Snowflake Developer with deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Python, and strong experience integrating SAP S4 HANA systems. The ideal candidate should have a background in manufacturing or finance domains and will work remotely during IST hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from SAP S4 HANA to Snowflake
  • Develop complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and UDFs to support analytics and reporting
  • Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and data processing in Snowflake
  • Optimize Snowflake performance using best practices in data modeling and query tuning
  • Use Snowflake containers for process and task management
  • Work with SNP Glue, Power BI, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Manage project documentation, business requirements, and task tracking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions
  • Stay updated on new technologies in cloud data platforms, AI, and data fabrics

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
  • Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, and Python
  • Experience working with SAP S4 HANA data
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT design patterns and data warehousing concepts
  • Knowledge of SNP Glue, Power BI, and cloud services (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience with project coordination and stakeholder communication
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
