Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Lab Assistant to assist in laboratory tasks, ensure safety and compliance, and support academic and research activities. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) and a basic understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, laboratory protocols, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting laboratory experiments and demonstrations.

  • Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.

  • Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with laboratory regulations.

  • Assist faculty and students in laboratory sessions.

  • Record and maintain laboratory data and reports.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) from a recognized institution.

  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical terminology.

  • Knowledge of laboratory protocols and safety procedures.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a laboratory setting.

  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
