The full-stack developer will work closely with the Senior Manager of IT and the Operations Director to work on a diverse array of technology applications. He/ she will also bring in the knowledge around best practices and new technologies to enrich the technical standards followed within AL Circle. The candidate is also expected to play an active part in conceptualising and delivering a number of technology initiatives.

The role will report to the Head- Technology

Responsibilities of the Role

A.
Develop, enhance and manage an array of technology applications

Such activities will encompass managing several in-house applications with the support of an internal technology team:

• 6+ Years of experience
• Assisting in the development and enhancement of the websites of AL Circle
• Responsible for testing and running an error-free website
• Management and development of Mobile Apps
• Build campaign landing pages for the various digital marketing campaigns
• Periodic modification of each of the applications for performance augmentation
• Build preparedness for future application tests (performance tests) and IT security audits
• Build necessary documentation standards and ensure that the team follows the same

B.
Coordination with external technology partners

• AL Circle's Technology team works with multiple external technology partners. The Deputy Manager will work closely with them and ensure that the timelines are met
• Periodic calls and action items will be driven by the role with the Tech partners

Eligibility Skills

Must Have

NET & C# Expertise

• Deep understanding of C# (latest features up to C# 12)
• Strong knowledge of .NET 6/7/8 (ASP.NET Core, .NET API)
• Experience with asynchronous programming (async/await, Task Parallel Library)
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Strong in exception handling, logging, and debugging

Web Development

• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core Web API
• Experience with MVC and Razor pages
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation
• (Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Knowledge of dependency injection, middleware, and filters

Database & ORM

• Strong in SQL Server (stored procedures, indexing, query optimisation)
• Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Understanding of database normalisation and performance tuning

Architecture & Design

• Experience designing scalable, modular architectures (Clean Architecture, Onion,
• Layered)
• Good understanding of microservices and modular monoliths
• Ability to review and refactor legacy code for performance and maintainability

Testing & Quality

• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)
• Knowledge of integration testing and test-driven development (TDD)

DevOps & CI/CD

• Understanding of Git, branching strategies and pull requests
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Security
• Knowledge of authentication/authorisation (JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
• Familiar with API security and input validation
• Secure configuration of CORS, HTTPS, and sensitive data protection

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Ability to mentor juniors and conduct code reviews
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving and ownership mindset

Frontend / Client-Side

• Familiar with Angular, or Next Js
