A Kitchen Helper assists the kitchen staff and chefs in daily operations. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, preparing basic ingredients, and ensuring smooth workflow in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation (cutting vegetables, washing fruits, peeling, chopping).
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, counters, utensils, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, plates, and cooking tools.
• Help chefs in basic cooking tasks when required.
• Store food items properly and maintain stock of ingredients.
• Dispose of waste and keep the work area hygienic according to safety standards.
• Assist in unloading and organizing kitchen supplies.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene rules.
• Support cooks during rush hours.

Skills & Qualities

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork and good communication.
• Physical stamina for standing long hours.

Education & Experience

• No formal education required (10th or 12th pass preferred).
• Experience is an advantage but fresher candidates are often accepted.
• Training is usually provided on the job.
