Role: Sr. Business Analyst – Product Development

Location: Chennai, India

Primary Responsibility:

Sr. Business Analyst – Product Development
will assist in the development, release, delivery, and

iteration of products to meet market and client needs. The Sr. Business Analyst works both with internal and client business leaders to identify and define product needs, with engineering team to develop, enhance and deliver the products.

Job Duties:

  • Perform end-to-end product development activities including research, exploration, design,

development/refinement, and client delivery for products.

  • Work with clients and internal operations teams to review product functionality, facilitate the

gathering of new requirements and influence the future direction of products to improve customer

satisfaction, operational efficiency, and optimize product performance.

  • Analyze the competitive landscape and client requests for market needs that current products and capabilities do not meet; define user personas, write product requirements, and use scenario, and create/maintain prioritized product backlogs.

  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stake holders across to determine future

product direction and assist in the successful new product design, development, and delivery.

  • Demonstrate strong project leadership and communication skills and serve as a subject matter

expert on products and processes within the scope of responsibilities.

  • Create functional specifications, detailed storyboards, wireframes, and other prototypes for a clear and comprehensive depiction of the product offering; Document business process flows and

perform research as required to support internal and client requests.

  • Have firm grounding in US healthcare and healthcare technology data standards like HL7 etc. Define business case for new or enhanced product capabilities to ensure the proposed capabilities are aligned with the strategic business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, engineering, or related area is required. MBA or MS in

engineering is preferred.

  • 6+ years of prior experience in IT; Software Engineer/Business Analyst/product management

experience in US healthcare or CDI/RCM domain focused product is plus.

  • Product certification (CSPO, CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

  • Should possess a strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with product

backlog management tools such as ADO or JIRA.

  • Familiarity with SQL, FHIR resources, and API concepts would be an added advantage.

  • Product lifecycle management - responsible for the design, development, and management of new and existing product capabilities.

  • Extremely strong communication and relationship management skills; uses appropriate

communication vehicles; understands audience and uses the best method of conveying a message;

can negotiate with and influence other leaders.

  • Ability to set priorities and work on multiple tasks simultaneously; Excellent attention to detail,

accuracy and follow up.
