We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Plumbing Engineer to design, plan, supervise, and ensure the proper installation of plumbing and drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The candidate should be able to interpret drawings, prepare BOQs, guide technicians, and ensure all work is completed as per standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

Prepare plumbing layouts, water supply, drainage, and stormwater designs.

Develop material BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates.

Review and verify architectural and structural drawings to create coordinated plumbing plans.

Ensure designs follow local building codes, IS standards, and safety regulations.

Execution & Site Supervision

Monitor daily plumbing work and guide plumbers/technicians to ensure correct installation.

Inspect installation of pipes, pumps, valves, sanitary fixtures, and water tanks.

Conduct pressure testing, leakage tests, and functional testing of plumbing systems.

Resolve technical issues at site and provide immediate workable solutions.

Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, engineers, and clients.

Material & Quality Control

Ensure materials used meet required specifications and quality standards.

Check measurements, quantities, and verify work before approvals.

Raise material requests on time and track material usage.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.

Maintain test reports, checklists, and as-built drawings.

Document any design changes and provide updated drawings if required.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Diagnose issues like blockages, low pressure, pump failures, and recommend solutions.

Support AMC, renovation, and repair/maintenance projects when required.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing Engineering.

Minimum _ years of experience in plumbing design and site execution.

Strong knowledge of:

CPVC, UPVC, PPR, GI, MS, HDPE piping

Sanitary fixtures and fittings

Water supply, drainage, rainwater systems

Pump sizing, load calculations

Ability to read and create AutoCAD drawings (Revit knowledge is an advantage).

Good understanding of IS codes and plumbing standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership ability.

Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate multiple teams.
