About the Role

We are looking for a Content Specialist (SEO-focused) to join our digital marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a solid grasp of SEO principles, and the ability to use modern tools to produce content that attracts, engages, and converts.

You'll work closely with the marketing team to create and optimize high-quality content that enhances search visibility, aligns with business objectives, and performs across both traditional and emerging search formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, and produce SEO-optimized content for blogs, landing pages, and website copy.
  • Conduct keyword research and build topic clusters aligned with audience intent and business goals.
  • Implement on-page SEO strategies, including keyword placement, meta tags, internal linking, and schema markup.
  • Optimize content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), ensuring visibility in AI-driven search results, featured snippets, and voice search responses.
  • Audit and update existing content to improve rankings, readability, and overall user engagement.
  • Maintain and manage the content calendar to ensure consistent publishing.
  • Track and report content performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity) for ideation, outlining, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to maintain brand voice and consistency.
  • Stay updated on SEO, AEO, and content marketing trends, including search generative experiences and AI-driven search behavior.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in content writing, on-page SEO, or digital marketing.
  • Strong command of English and excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • In-depth understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and search intent mapping.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools for content planning and optimization.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret content performance data.

Additional skills Recommended

  • Basic understanding of off-page SEO and backlinking strategies.
  • Knowledge of content analytics dashboards and reporting.
  • Awareness of voice search optimization and structured data usage.
