Job Summary:
The Commis Chef is responsible for assisting the kitchen team in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen under the supervision of senior chefs. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates starting a professional culinary career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes as per the menu and recipes.
- Ensure all ingredients are prepared, cleaned, and stored properly.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Support senior chefs during cooking, plating, and service.
- Monitor stock levels and notify seniors when supplies are low.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Participate in kitchen training and development programs.
- Assist in washing, cutting, and basic cooking tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory)
