At O-Health, we are developing and deploying edge-based AI models that operate directly on local devices for faster, privacy-preserving healthcare insights. Our systems have been successfully deployed across multiple Indian states, improving access to digital healthcare.

About the Role

We are seeking a
Full Stack Engineer

who will be responsible for
deployment, maintenance, support, and software improvements

for the O-Health application deployed at a hospital.

This role involves:

  • On-site coordination

with doctors, staff, and hospital IT teams.
- Maintaining and updating the
mobile and desktop app
- Managing backend systems, data workflows, and DevOps tasks.
- Troubleshooting, documenting issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of the product.

The engineer will undergo
initial onboarding and training in Bangalore

, and then work primarily from
Delhi

(with occasional Bangalore visits if needed).

What You Will Do

  • Manage, maintain, and support the
    O-Health mobile and web application

running in a clinical environment.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and care coordinators to understand user experiences and resolve issues.
- Implement UI updates, bug fixes, and new features on the
React Native

app.
- Maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- Perform
testing

, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Work with
MySQL

databases: queries, table updates, data consistency checks.
- Monitor logs, uptime, and system health; escalate and resolve issues with the engineering team.
- Document updates, workflows, feedback, and change requests.
- Coordinate with the core engineering team for version upgrades, deployments, and feature planning.

What You Will Need

Must Have:

  • Strong proficiency in
    React Native

(Android / web app development).
- Experience with
/ Express

or similar backend.
- Good understanding of
MySQL / DBMS

concepts (queries, joins, indexing).
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code in a production environment.
- Comfortable working on
Linux/Ubuntu environments

- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Postman.
- Knowledge of Git / GitHub workflows.
- Familiarity with deployment pipelines (Docker, PM2, Nginx).
- Previous work in healthcare tech or operational deployment roles.
- Understanding of hospital workflows and patient data handling.
