JD: Power Platform Architect

Must-Have Skills:

  • Lead a team of developers in implementing Power Platform solutions.
  • Design and review technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Own technical delivery including environment setup, solution design, and deployment.
  • Enforce standards and best practices in development and integration.
  • Hands-on with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Power Pages, and Power BI.
  • Cloud/Desktop flows in Power Automate (approval flows, integrations, error handling, RPA Processing)
  • Experience with Dataverse and understanding of schema/model
  • Hands-on with solution layering, exporting/importing solutions
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems (SharePoint, SQL, REST APIs)
  • Basic coding: Power Fx, JSON manipulation, formula design
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with role-based security and permission management.
  • Exposure to ALM practices using managed/unmanaged solutions and deployment pipelines.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Plugin/custom connector development (.NET/C#).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript (for Model-Driven Apps), and plugin development.
  • Power Pages / Portal design and authentication
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for MPP
  • Working knowledge of Power BI embedding
  • Exposure to UI/UX best practices
  • PL-400 Certified (Developer) or PL-200 (Functional Consultant)

Power Automate Cloud Flows

  • Use premium connectors (HTTP, Dataverse, Azure)
