Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Officer located in Panchkula. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits, and developing safety policies and procedures. Daily tasks include investigating and reporting accidents, training staff on safety protocols, and identifying potential hazards. The Safety Officer will also collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in conducting safety audits and developing safety policies
- Skills in investigating and reporting accidents
- Ability to train staff on safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Previous experience in a safety officer or similar role is preferred
