Job Title : Transaction Advisory
Job Summary
The role involves supporting clients in complex transactions, including financial due diligence, valuations, M&A advisory, and deal structuring. Candidates must hold a CA qualification and have thorough experience in transaction advisory or related fields. This position contributes strategic financial insights, drives compliance excellence, and coordinates seamless execution for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Key responsibilities :
- Execute buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, including the analysis of quality of earnings, working capital, and business drivers.
- Lead valuations using various methodologies such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
- Advise clients on the financial structuring of acquisitions, mergers, carve-outs, and reorganizations.
- Prepare and review detailed reports and deliverables summarizing analyses, key findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Ensure robust compliance with accounting principles, statutory requirements, and deal governance.
- Coordinate and manage due diligence process, including data gathering, site visits, and reporting.
- Contribute to transaction strategy, capital markets, IPO advisory, and deal negotiations.
- Mentor junior team members and support in developing best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, legal, and tax advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Freshers to 5+ years of post-qualification experience in M&A transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or audit, preferably with a Big 4 or recognized firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (preferably U.S. GAAP and IFRS), audit, and tax diligence.
- Proficient in financial modeling, report writing, and Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
