List Skillsets and Tools Experience

  • Practical experience and knowledge of Temenos Transact (T24) preferred.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot and find solutions
  • Experience with Close of Business processes and support helpful
  • Hands-on experience with jBoss Enterprise Application Platform (or JBoss EAP)
  • Linux operating system experience, command line scripting, and file access configuration
  • Microsoft Data Platform / Microsoft SQL Server database experience
  • Proficient in MS SQL development/scripting
  • Scripting with python, Bash or PowerShell
  • Understanding of Middleware and API connection calls
  • Practical experience with GIT integration via TFS
  • Remediation of vulnerabilities identified by security scans
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot independently with minimal assistance
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and live environment debugging skills
  • Daily Scrum knowledge & skills a plus
  • Ability to train and assist the user community to troubleshoot issues
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Follows proper install processes and validate that each step completes.
  • Communicates proactively with team on tasks and issues

Job Description

The Application Support Engineer II is a technical resource whose primary role is to prepare, implement, administrate, and troubleshoot Core Banking Solutions. Additional key roles include Production Support, code installation, software configuration, automating implementation activities to minimize manual intervention, monitoring, and validating the application in production and non production environments. Responsibilities also include coordinating with development teams and vendors as necessary to report defects and validate fixes. This position may perform a mix of operational and project-based work and be hands-on with cutting edge technologies.
