Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Developer
with 6–8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You'll work on cutting-edge embedded solutions for industrial and connected devices, contributing to the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded firmware using C & C++ for microcontrollers and SoCs
  • Design real-time firmware architecture using RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, ThreadX)
  • Integrate industrial protocols: Modbus (RTU/TCP), CAN, RS485
  • Develop and debug Bluetooth (Classic/LE) and networking stacks (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT)
  • Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product teams
  • Participate in full SDLC and Agile development
  • Use Git for version control and conduct code reviews
  • Troubleshoot firmware issues using advanced debugging tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6–8 years of embedded firmware experience in C & C++
  • Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex-M, PIC)
  • RTOS-based development experience
  • Proficiency in Modbus, CAN, RS485
  • Hands-on with Bluetooth and networking protocols
  • Familiarity with Agile and Git workflows
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Embedded Systems
  • Experience with wireless stacks (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, BLE)
  • Knowledge of secure firmware and OTA updates
  • Exposure to IoT platforms
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash)
  • Experience with JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
