Application Support Engineer role that does the ingestion and delivery of subsets of licensed data to each of our client bases using in-house software. This role also involves taking database backup/restore, application installation & configuration, system maintenance and troubleshooting, DB failover, Cluster failover and DR failover. Interacting with the software, supervising the application process and logs, handling issues or escalating issues to the respective team. The role requires a detail-oriented person who can follow through on instructions, adapt as needed while working in a heavy multi-tasking and fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Azure services and .NET technologies.
• Build solutions using Azure PaaS (App Services, Service Bus Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.).
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and implement standard methodologies.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver business value.
• Solve and resolve sophisticated technical issues in production and development environments.
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming.
• Deep experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.).
• Hands-on with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Azure Container Instances, AKS).
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization (Azure AD, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and logging (App Insights, Log Analytics).
• Unit testing and TDD/BDD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Education

We are looking for Graduates (B.Sc/M.Sc Computer Science, B.CA/ MCA, B.E )  with proven track record in Application architecture, design and development.
