Hotel Sales Manager | Location: Bangalore | Workplace: On-site
Role & Responsibilities
- Own revenue targets for assigned property/territory: build pipeline, forecast monthly/quarterly sales, and deliver consistent topline growth.
- Prospect and convert corporate, travel trade, and group business opportunities—focus on MICE, corporate negotiated rates, and long-term contracts.
- Manage key accounts end-to-end: conduct client visits, prepare tailored proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
- Coordinate with operations, revenue management, and events teams to ensure seamless execution and maximize upsell opportunities (F&B, meeting spaces, room blocks).
- Maintain and update CRM with accurate pipeline, activity logs, and client intelligence; produce actionable sales reports and market analyses.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, corporate site visits, and trade shows to expand network and strengthen brand presence.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years sales experience in hotels or hospitality (corporate, group, or MICE sales) with demonstrable revenue achievements.
- Proven ability to close B2B contracts and manage key corporate accounts; strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce/Zoho/HubSpot) and competency in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and professional client-facing demeanour.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel locally for client meetings and events.
Preferred
- Experience with channel/OTA partnerships and corporate travel agencies.
- Knowledge of revenue management fundamentals and cross-selling of F&B and events services.
- Local market network and prior success in generating group/MICE business in the assigned city or region.
