Job Description
  • Good Understanding of Accounting Principles: Knowledge of core accounting principles and practices to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaid expenses, and necessary adjustments, ensuring proper documentation and supporting evidence.
  • General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Daily Journal Entry Posting: Post daily journal entries to the general ledger in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision when entering financial data to avoid errors and discrepancies.
  • Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all necessary entries are made and reports are finalized.
  • Bank & Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal management, external auditors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Experience in Accounting: 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with hands-on exposure to general ledger accounting.
  • Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables, v-lookups, and data analysis tools
