About the role:

We are seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Senior Data Scientist who excels at translating complex problem statements into data-driven insights and solutions that enable informed decision-making. As part of the PDT DD&T (Data, Digital & Transformation) team, you will leverage advanced analytics to deliver data-driven solutions and strategic insights that drive impactful business outcomes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Pricing, Marketing, and Forecasting you will analyze datasets, build predictive models, and help shape data strategies to enhance organizational performance. Working closely with the Data Science Lead and fellow data scientists, you will contribute to the broader Data and Analytics chapter of the ICC by providing data-backed recommendations that support key strategic initiatives.

You will report directly to the Data Science Lead, who will provide strategic direction.

How you will contribute:

• Support the Lead Data Scientist and team members in solving problems, analyzing data and finding solutions.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced statistical methods, data science/ML, and other quantitative techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data engineers, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Business owners) to integrate data-driven insights into business strategies and operations.
• Oversee and drive the lifecycle of statistical and AI/ML decision support solutions and products, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
• Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

Must have requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or other quantitative fields (master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience after Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of relevant experience after a Master's or a PhD.
• Solid understanding of applied statistical modelling, applied math modeling, and ML techniques (e.g. Clustering, Classification, Regression, Dimensionality Reduction, Ensemble Methods, Natural Language Processing)
• Proficient in programming languages like Python, PySpark, SQL or R for data curation, transformation, analysis, modeling, and visualization tasks.
• Knowledge of AutoML platforms and emerging technologies like generative AI.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps platforms (e.g., MLflow) for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills and technical writing skills for both technical and business audiences.
