Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Software Test Engineer. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing test cases to ensure software quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs, verifying software functionality, collaborating with the development team to integrate quality checks, and ensuring that software meets performance standards. The role will contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes to enhance product quality.

Qualifications

Perform comprehensive manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.

Design, document, and execute test cases, ensuring thorough test coverage.

Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using standard defect management tools.

Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure product quality aligns with business expectations.

Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to QA planning and estimations.

Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or GraphQL.

Perform database testing using tools like MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
