Requirement
The Senior Software Engineer role is responsible for ensuring continuous innovation and development of Cm3 Digital products from inception to deployment and production support. This role will work as an integral part of creative and motivated teams to ensure high quality benchmarks are met for deliveries of innovative products for local and international markets. Working closely with other stakeholders, the role requires the ability to design, develop, and implement creative solutions. Thinking outside the box with the capability to learn upcoming technologies in the integration space, the role requires contributing proactively to business aligned digital initiatives. A detailed understanding of modern SDLC frameworks is required as is the ability to work in an Agile environments.

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Solid experience working in complex and innovative R&D development environments
• Experience working in Agile process and result-oriented culture
• Solid experience with multiple programming languages including Typescript, JavaScript, PHP
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead projects in your respective squad, guide and mentor team as required
• Provide thought leadership of the architecture and design of Digital products
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching of developers
• Contribute to the implementation, and delivery of Digital products
• Promote and experiment with new technologies that will help improve the quality and delivery of Digital Products
• Perform software engineering tasks to ensure the highest levels of product quality are met
• Review and analyse business requirements, develop product and platform solutions to extend and enhance Cm3 product offering
• Assist in identifying product and process weaknesses and possible refinements in an environment of continual evolution and improvement
• Analyse system and production defects, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Learn from industry specialists and apply best practices to further match our customer needs
• Keep up to date with technical trends, tools and methodologies, undertake research as required

Skills Required

• Demonstrable strong Architecture, design, development and collaboration skills gained in developing software product solutions
• Creativity, motivation and strong communication
• Hands on experience with developing and implementing integrations
• Effective time management skills for handling multiple projects and goals superior written and oral communication skills
• Superior interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
• Strong documentation skills

Technical Skills

• Full stack developer with a solid understand of both front-end and back-end development
• Proficiency in Node JS / NestJS, React, TypeScript, , Redux for building scalable, high-performance Apps
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Solid OOP with S.O.L.I.D principle in mind
• HTML5, CSS, Javascript
• Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with writing unit tests
• Comfortable with Jira and GIT version control system
• Normalised SQL database design, strong experience in MySQL
• Comfortable with cloud computing service (AWS preferred)

Bonus

• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Experience with OpenSearch for data indexing and search solutions
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
