Job Title: MRD Technician

Location: Kottayam, Thalayolaparambu

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update patient medical records (IP/OP) in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents and reports.
• File, retrieve, and issue medical records as per requests from clinical and administrative departments.
• Enter patient data into Hospital Information System (HIS) and manage digital/physical records.
• Support discharge record compilation and verify completeness.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of all health records.
• Assist in medical coding (ICD/Procedure codes), if applicable.
• Provide records for audits, legal requests, and insurance purposes following authorization protocols.
• Monitor retention schedules and support safe archiving/disposal of old records.
• Support compliance with NABH, JCI, or other accreditation requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certification in Medical Records Technology or Health Information Management (preferred).
• Familiarity with hospital documentation practices and basic medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
