JD SOLAR + BESS ( EXPERT )

A Solar + BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Design Engineer with 5-7 years of experience is a seasoned professional who leads the design of hybrid solar and battery projects. This role combines deep technical expertise with project management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Engineering: Leads the full design of solar and BESS projects, including site assessments, energy yield analysis, and creating detailed electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Technical Analysis: Conducts complex energy and financial modeling using tools like PVsyst and HOMER Pro to optimize system performance and financial returns.
  • Compliance: Ensures all designs meet national and local electrical and safety codes, as per the regulatory requirement .
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Works closely with cross-functional teams and clients. Mentors junior engineers and serves as a technical expert on all project aspects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7 years in solar PV and/or BESS design and engineering.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency with design software like AutoCAD, Helioscope, and PVsyst.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of power systems, energy storage technologies, and industry standards ( IS , IEC, UL etc )
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
