Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities

The EDI Consultant will be responsible for managing, implementing, and optimizing EDI systems and processes to streamline data exchanges with business partners and internal applications. This role requires in-depth knowledge of EDI standards, protocols, and integration methods. The ideal candidate will drive successful EDI implementations, troubleshoot issues, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance EDI processes and ensure smooth communication with external and internal stakeholders.

Role Requirements:

  • 8 yrs Automotive EDI (OEM/Tier-1) with trading-partner onboarding & cutovers
  • Hands-on with OpenText (Trading Grid / BizManager / B2B/Managed Services) or equivalent major EDI platform
  • Strong SAP ECC (IDoc/ASN/ORDERS/INVOIC/DELJIT/SHPMNT flows) and 3PL integrations
  • Experience leading contractor transitions and stabilizing BAU support
  • SLA-driven operations, incident/defect triage, and production support
