Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Data Migration Developer
to lead complex data migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and ETL skills, deep experience in
data migration and Master Data Management (MDM)
, and the ability to troubleshoot configuration and pricing mismatches during migration. Knowledge of APIs, Python scripting, and cloud data warehouses (like Snowflake) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, plan, and execute
    end-to-end data migrations
    ensuring accurate preservation of legacy data and pricing models.
  • Analyze and resolve
    configuration and pricing mismatches
    during migration, providing robust troubleshooting solutions.
  • Design and implement migration strategies for
    bundle products
    , mapping legacy standalone items to bundled items in target systems.
  • Validate
    totals, configurations, and calculations
    post-migration to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Perform
    Master Data Management (MDM)
    migrations including
    data deduplication
    using key columns or fuzzy matching logic.
  • Implement
    attribute-level merge strategies
    for handling duplicate records.
  • Conduct
    data cleansing
    activities — including VAT validation, address verification, and data format standardization.
  • Build and maintain
    ETL pipelines
    for extraction, transformation, and migration processes.
  • Utilize or learn
    Safe FME
    for advanced ETL and transformation tasks.
  • Develop and maintain
    Python scripts
    for automation, validation, and data manipulation.
  • Work with
    SOAP and REST APIs
    for integration and validation, using
    Postman
    for API testing.
  • Execute complex
    SQL operations
    (SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE, MERGE, joins, aggregations) for migration and validation.
  • Work with
    data warehouses
    such as
    Snowflake
    for migration, staging, and validation tasks.
  • Collaborate with
    cross-functional teams
    including data architects, business analysts, and QA to ensure smooth, error-free migrations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in
    data migration, ETL development
    , or
    data integration projects
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    SQL
    (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, MERGE, joins, aggregations).
  • Hands-on experience with
    data cleansing, validation, and deduplication
    techniques.
  • Experience building and maintaining
    ETL pipelines
    for large-scale data movement.
  • Familiarity with
    SOAP/REST APIs
    and API testing using
    Postman
    .
  • Proven experience with
    MDM data migration
    and data quality management.
  • Willingness to learn
    Safe FME
    and
    Python
    for automation and advanced ETL operations.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with
    Salesforce CPQ
    objects — Quote, Quote Line, Order, Order Item.
  • Knowledge of
    Snowflake
    or other
    cloud-based data warehouses
    .
  • Understanding of
    Salesforce CPQ pricing
    , product bundling, and configuration rules.
